arbornote

Results: Quadrupled the sales


We were tasked by a repeat client, ArborNote, to help them with rebranding and marketing their message to reach new customers. Arbornote is an interactive real-time business management software designed for both tree care and property management companies in the tree care business. The video shown here is a clear demonstration of how we apply the same story across all platforms. 

Here’s an example of the story on the inside of a marketing pamphlet. 

 

More than two years ago when we first did the relaunch, we had to completely overhaul their old logo and website and design a new brand identity for the company to tell their current story. 

 

During some of the strategy sessions, we remember the owner commenting that we ask some very difficult questions. By doing so, we were able to get to the core of what the company is about, it’s goals, aspirations, and vision. Without those elements, I don’t think we’d have been successful in helping them get to where they are today.

 

There was one particular challenge during the process that I will not forget and am still proud of. After several different designs and revisions, I decided to bring on a second graphic designer to try something entirely different. The owner and his team didn’t take to the new direction and wanted to settle with we had originally. I trusted my instinct and insisted that they sit with the new version for two days. In the end, they were more than thrilled to implement the new logo even before they had the graphic files. 

 

Shortly after, the owner was at a trade show. He told me that one of his customer’s daughter was asking if she could have one of their T-shirts, simply because she loved the logo so much. 

 

Since the relaunch, we continue to work with them on branding and marketing. With our latest efforts, ArborNote has quadrupled their sales in just a few months. Working with ArborNote has been one of our best and proudest experiences.

 

Brody Pennell


Client: Brody Pennell

Results: Sales increase by 30%


We were hired by an award-winning heating and air-conditioning company, Brody Pennell, to help them with branding and video marketing. Brody Pennell has been around for decades, but they have never done any video marketing before. 

 

When the owner first approached me, he said one of their biggest competitors had a video on their website to showcase their machines and services, and they wanted something similar. We took one look at their competitor’s video, and we knew in order for them to touch the hearts of their customers, showcasing machines and manpower would not be the ideal approach for them. 

 

We spent 2 sessions talking with the owner and had him answer a lengthy questionnaire. As we were going through his answers, we learned very quickly that his company culture was quite different than his competitors. He really valued his employees, and the word integrity kept coming up. So instead of applying the same approach, we asked him if he would be open to using a storytelling format to showcase the company, and he said yes. 

 

The result is a very different video than what they had envisioned. We put the story emphasis on the people (his employees,) and featured why they’re the perfect company for consumers needing heating and air-conditioning services.

Results: $390,000 & 39 wells
